In more than 22 years of service on the Planning Commission and the City Council of Williamsburg, paul Freiling has demonstrated unfailing dedication, competence and foresight. He has faced issues of economic development while keeping Williamsburg a wonderful city in which to live, preserving our neighborhoods, supporting our public schools and maintaining fiscal responsibility.
He will help lead the city through the COVID-19 health crisis and the difficult challenges of the recovery. He will help us maintain this city, remembering always its rich history but focusing especially on the great potential for the years ahead. I especially admire his openness to helping fellow citizens and life-long dedication to public service.
